As the winter season is upon us, the City of New Berlin's Electronic Recycling Program has ended for the safety of our residents, City of New Berlin staff, and the staff of Refrigerant Depot, our vendor.
The program will return to our normal schedule on April 5, 2021
Please note that no items will be accepted outside of these times.
New Berlin Recycling Center DOES NOT accept electronic recyclables.
The City of New Berlin has teamed up with Refrigerant Depot, LLC to provide our citizens with an electronic recycling alternative. New Berlin citizens can drop off their electronic recyclables at the New Berlin Streets Department, located at 16550 W. National Avenue. Please note staff will not be available to assist with the unloading of items.
There will be a cost for certain electronic recycling items.

This service is provided at 16550 W. National Avenue. We request all residents check-in at the office prior to dropping off items.

Items that can be recycled include:
Televisions - $35 Fee payable through Refrigerant Depot Website within 24 hours prior to drop off time. Payment will not be accepted onsite and your confirmation number is required at the time of drop-off.
Other Monitors - $10 Fee payable through Refrigerant Depot Website within 24 hours prior to drop off time. Payment will not be accepted onsite and your confirmation number is required at the time of drop-off.
None Fee Items:
All other items listed on the attached flyer
Items not accepted: Ink/Toner Cartridges, Smoke/CO Detectors, Fire Extinguishers, Medical Equipment, Water Softeners, Household Batteries, Light Bulbs, Any Broken/De-Manufactured Electronics, CD’s/Cassettes/DVD’s, Speakers, Radios or other Stereo Equipment.
