The City of New Berlin will be purchasing and displaying street light pole banners in the City Center by the New Berlin Public Library for active New Berlin service members. The Program is designed to encourage the Community of New Berlin to honor and recognize Military personnel that consider New Berlin "home."
The banners will display the official military photo of the service person, as well as his/her name, rank and branch of the U.S. Armed Services. Banners will be displayed from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Banners will be presented to honorees by the Mayor at the City’s Veterans Day Ceremony in November.
To be considered for the 2023 season, applications must be received by May 1, 2023.
