2021 Assessment Roll & Important Dates
The 2021 Assessment Roll will be available for public inspection beginning on April 12th, 2021 until April 21st, 2021 online either on the Interactive City Map or as a downloadable file.

2021 Preliminary Real Estate Assessment Roll
2021 Preliminary Personal Property Assessment Roll
The final Assessment Roll will be reported to the Finance office for use in preparation of the 2021 Tax Roll and also to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue Equalization Bureau for use in finalizing the City’s total Equalized Value for 2021.
The Equalized Value is used in shared revenue calculations for the City and each of the four school districts which serve City Residents.
If you would like to request that an appraiser review your property assessment for the 2021 tax year, we would be happy to schedule an interior and exterior inspection at your convenience.

The Board of Review is a quasi-judicial body appointed by the Mayor that requires sworn verbal testimony, cross-examination of witnesses and the presentation of market derived evidence of value by the Assessors office as well as the Objector. Witnesses may be compelled to appear via subpoena.

March 1, 2021 | Applications of property exemption are due. |
April 9, 2021 | Assessment notices are mailed. |
April 12 - April 21, 2021 | Open book period - Assessment rolls are available for public review at City Hall. |
May 10, 2021 | The Board of Review meets for the first time. |
