VFW Post 5716 is still planning on conducting their annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25th at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at about 11:00 am. If you plan on attending the ceremony, please note the changes to the program featuring a “Community Drive-By” that will require all attending to remain in their vehicles as they drive by the Memorial in single file, rather than congregating at the Memorial. We suggest that you frequently check the City website for likely changes to the program as we get closer to Memorial Day, and while at the website we suggest that you take advantage of the Notify-Me feature for timely notifications about the Memorial Day Ceremony, the 4th of July events and many other City events and programs.
